These terms describe the offer. They are a plain-language summary for this preview, not a signed agreement. National PAT Testing Register is a product of On Draft, operated by On Drafter Limited.

The checkout does not take payment. Submitting it creates nothing: no subscription, no account, no charge. The franchise form does not send your note. Card details are not transmitted or stored.

PAT testing is not a legal requirement

Portable appliance testing is an encouraged safety practice. It is not mandatory in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. Buying the register, attending the webinar, or fitting a tag does not create a statutory duty to PAT test, and it is not a statutory licence.

The business register

  • £20 a month, or £220 for the year paid upfront.
  • The monthly price is the £240 annual amount split into 12 payments. Twelve-month commitment. No interest.
  • The upfront price is one month free against that £240.
  • Pro, the asset book, is a further £10 a month. On the annual plan that is £120 for the year, added to £220. The free month applies to the register fee, not to Pro.
  • Included: managed reminders, a PAT tester on hire and delivered by DPD, a remote webinar, example faulty cables, and up to 250 devices.
  • The tester is booked and returned. It is not left on site.
  • A visit by a registered tester is optional and is not included in the price.

Franchise territories

  • The franchisee gives the customer the software as a bonus, and does not resell it.
  • The franchisee charges the customer separately for physical PAT labour, at the franchisee’s own rate. On Drafter takes no cut of that labour.
  • The platform fee is 1–10 businesses at £500 a month; 11–20 businesses at £700 a month; 21–40 businesses at £1,000 a month.
  • Postcode zones are exclusive. GPS is checked when work is registered.
  • If the franchisee stops paying, the login ends, the tags still open to On Drafter, the franchisee’s name comes off, and the next franchisee is written on at the next retest.

Data

When the stickers and the system are used, On Drafter Limited is the data controller and the owner of the register data.
